GERD Symptoms (2)

The commonest symptom of GERD is heartburn. Heartburn is skilled by most people at some time or another. It requires evaluation by a specialist only when it's skilled repeatedly, when it persists regardless of over-the-counter treatments, or when it is accompanied by extra alarming symptoms similar to weigh loss, issue swallowing, or bleeding. If you've gotten never skilled heartburn, it could be troublesome to imagine what it feels like - and in case you have, you're painfully accustomed to this disagreeable sensation. Most people describe it as a burning, uninteresting ache, pain, or discomfort behind the sternum (breastbone), often seeming to extend up in the chest, occasionally as far up because the throat. The discomfort of heartburn can be so intense that it looks like a heart assault, or so delicate that it's barely noticeable.
Heartburn tends to occur after a meal, and particularly after a large meal eaten at night time or a meal that includes fatty meals, alcohol, caffeine, chocolate, or peppermint. What else could cause GERD symptoms? Any of the next, alone or together:
vigorous exercise GERD treatment
tight clothing
smoking
being overweight or overweight
By the way, having a giant stomach for any cause may cause GERD signs. Beside obesity, the most common causes of an abnormally large stomach are pregnancy or abnormal fluid within the belly cavity.
